Just now turning 3, this talented black filly is the granddaughter of 3-time World Grand Champion Wonder Lady's Delight and sired by the Northwest's
Futurity high point sire Gen's Silver Sandman. Her 2006 year resulted in her winning the Northwest's High Point Liteshod 2-year-old title. Starting out 2007
with a bang, she was awarded the blue ribbon in all 5 of her classes at the Fiesta 2 show. Chanel made her trip back to Tennessee one to remember by winning
the 3-year-old Traditional (Liteshod) Plantation Futurity. It was a great thrill for Sharon to wear the roses as the last time she did was on her mare who
is also the grandmother of this mare, World Grand Champion Wonder Lady's Delight which made it doubly special. She followed up this win by winning the Under
Saddle division of the Western International 3-year-old Liteshod and garnered the Graduate Award which is awarded to the horse winning the most points over
a 4-year period. She will be spending the winter learning the third gait the canter.
Trudy's trip to the Celebration resulted in her tying in the top ten in all of her classes including a good 6th place tie in the World Grand
Championship Liteshod class ridden by her owner trainer Diane Gueck. She finished up the year as the Western International 3-gait Liteshod Grand Champion.
17-year-old Trudy will be taking the winter off with some occasional forays into the horse dancing world at which she is becoming spectacular.
We are very excited to confirm that Ritz is in foal to the great Jose Jose making this a royal cross with the Ritz Jose line. It took all summer to
get her in foal but it will certainly be worth it. This lovely mare was National High Point Model Mare in 2006 as well as being named the Northwest's
Liteshod Horse of the Year. We gave her the year off in order to get her in foal.
What a great year for Black as he continues to dominate the Western 3-gait division with a win at the Western International. Diane and Black were
back in the driving division after a 3-year hiatus. He has certainly earned the winter off. Lord Blackwatch is proudly
owned by Shon & Sharon DeFord.
This lovely and naturally gaited mare was a newcomer to CTS this year. Angela has been enjoying a great year showing in both the Trail Pleasure and
the Country Pleasure divisions. Chocolate has a wonderful headshake and walks so naturally she even shakes her ears. She is a 5-year-old kind of chocolaty
color and about 16 hands tall. She is taking a 3-month hiatus and will be back to learn how to canter in January.
